Dog waste is not fertilizer! Unlike cow manure, dog waste is protein-based, which makes it toxic to your grass. Left unattended, it creates large, brown, bare patches. Not only does feces cause a nuisance and a messy appearance, but it can also kill your lawn and endanger the health of your family.
When left to accumulate, dog waste attracts disease-carrying pests, flies, and pollutes the groundwater underneath. The parasites and bacteria held in dog poop can cause health problems for adults and children who play near (or accidentally step in) feces left on the lawn.
We Are Pet Owners Ourselves
We LOVE Dogs!! ForPetSakes also makes it a point to create a bond with your dog(s). The same scooper will come week after week which will ensure a comfortable bond between us and your dog(s). If we noticed any irregularities or anything concerning in your dog's poop(Ex: Diarrhea, foreign objects or blood in the poop) we inform you immediately. Also, we report anything else unusual: Holes dug in the yard, problems with the fence or gate etc. The most important part of our service, beyond the waste removal, is making sure your pet is safe. We always double-check gates before leaving to make sure they are properly secure so your dog(s) can't escape.

Weekly Pick-Up
1 Dog/$15 2 Dogs/$20 3 Dogs/$25
You pick the day of the week you'd like pick up to be performed. We'll come out on that day and pick up all the poo!! We do a second walk around to make sure we didn't miss any. We then dispose of the double bagged trash bags in your trash container(Let us know if you have a different place you'd like it go) We then leave a note so you know the service was completed.
2x A Week Pick-Up
1 Dog/$25 2 Dogs/$30 3 Dogs/$35
We'll come out 2x a week--You pick the days and we'll handle the messy part!! We then dispose of the double bagged garbage bag in your trash can(Let us know if you'd like it put somewhere else) Before leaving we make sure to leave you a note so you know service was completed.
This is our premium service plan. A great choice if you have children that enjoy playing in the yard or families that actively spend a lot of time outdoors.
A good option for larger dogs or several dogs.
Bi-Weekly
1 Dog/$30 2 Dogs/$40 3 Dogs/$50
Every other week pick up--You pick the day and we'll be there to do the not so fun part of owning a dog. An affordable service option for maintaining your yard. Best suited for those who don't spend much time in their yard/or those with small dogs.
Spring Clean-Up
Wonderful Minnesota and it's four seasons! I'm sure we all can agree our winters are long and can be brutal at times. Once the temperature starts dropping and the snow starts falling a lot of dog owners stop picking up after their dogs.
Next thing you know you've gone all winter without picking up and then we get a streak of nice weather, you look outside at your backyard and think to yourself "AWWCRAP" Dog Poop Everywhere!!
ForPetSakes knows doing that Spring Clean-Up is the last thing you want to be doing so let us handle it for you. We'll give your yard a nice, clean start for the new season!!
Since every yard is different and therefore the amount of dog poop may be vary, we price each yard individually. Pricing each yard individually guarantees that the client will benefit from a fair price based just on their yard alone rather than paying a flat rate on the number of dogs you have. Sometimes a client with two small dogs don't nearly have as much dog poop as someone with one large dog. As well, not every customer with one dog will have the same amount of dog poop as the next person with only one dog. Plus, there are other components to take into consideration such as: Yard size, is the yard wet or dry, Can the yard be raked or does everything need to be picked up one by one, Do you have stones or mulch that your dog poop is sitting on, Is the dog poop generally in the same areas or is it all over the yard.
Approximate estimates for the majority of Spring Clean-Ups vary from $90-$185
Spring Clean-Ups are generally defined as 60-180 days since dog poop was last picked up during the months of November through April.
